Essential Photoshoot Tips

• Move vehicles away from the driveway

• Remove clutter (bins, tools, parcels, garden items, cleaning products, bins, cables, and laundry)

• Clear dead plants and fallen leaves

• Mow the lawn and tidy the garden

• Clean and sweep entrances, pathways, patios, doors, and windows

• Arrange outdoor furniture neatly

• Close all exterior doors and windows​

• Remove anything that may look messy or distracting in photos

• Open curtains and blinds to let in maximum natural light

• Replace dead bulbs and use warm, matching bulbs throughout

• Turn on all lights and lamps to brighten shadowed areas

• Ensure all light fixtures are installed and no small repairs are pending

• Make beds neatly with clean, matching bedding

• Fluff pillows and neatly arrange cushions and throws

• Remove clutter from under beds and around the room

• Close cupboards and wardrobes

• Straighten rugs, artwork, and décor

• Add simple lifestyle details (breakfast setup, tidy desk, book, cosy blanket)

• Use fresh flowers or green plants to add life and colour

• A half-ready property always shows on camera — finishing touches matter.

• Clear all worktops completely

• Empty and clean the sink

• Hide towels, utensils, cutlery, and oven gloves

• Move bins, pet bowls, and pet bedding out of sight

• Remove fridge magnets, notes, and personal items

• Add one simple styling touch (e.g. a bowl of fruit,  a small plant etc.)

• Put toilet lids down

• Clear countertops, removing toiletries and bottles

• Pull back shower curtains neatly

• Remove towels from radiators and hooks unless they are staged, fresh and matching

• Ensure toilet roll and brushes look presentable

• Add a small neutral touch (e.g., a folded towel set or minimal toiletry tray)

Walk through the property as if you were about to check in
